The Nigerian Air Force, NAF, says it has disrupted a meeting between suspected Boko Haram /ISWAP terrorists on the Lake Chad with targeted bombs and rockets.
A statement signed by the NAF Spokesman, Edward Gabkwet, disclosed that it would sustain its onslaught on terrorists operating in and around the Lake Chad.
The statement revealed that NAF received credible Intelligence that about 20 boats with suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists were going to converge on the said locations, and 3 NAF aircraft under Operation Hadin Kai were scrambled to carry out strikes on the targets leaving some survivors scrambling for their lives.
It added that working alongside the Army and Naval components as well as other security agencies under Operation HADIN KAI, the Air Component will continue to sustain its operation until the area is rid of all terrorists and insurgents.
