The Federal Government has shut down a medical laboratory which allegedly produced an inaccurate DNA.
The Registrar/Chief Executive of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria, MLSCN, Tosan Irabor, disclosed this in an interview with newsmen in Abuja
Irabor said the decision to clamp down on the laboratory was taken when the result was sent back to Nigeria from Saudi Arabia.
He, however, disclosed that the government has given medical laboratories in the country 2025 deadline within which they should register with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria or be shut down.
