The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, has revealed that the National Identification Number, NIN, will enable the Federal Government and Security Agencies know the identity of Internet Users in the country.
Pantami made this known during the Nigeria International Partnership Forum in Paris, France.
He stated that NIN will be the foundation of the economy and security in the country.
The Minister, however, noted that NIN is a prerequisite to enjoying government services, adding that it will bring peace of mind to potential investors.
