National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, says it has seized fresh consignments of hard drugs weighing 16.85 kilograms worth over N4.9 billion, at the Apapa seaport and Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, in Lagos State.
This was disclosed in a Statement by the Director, Media and Advocacy of NDLEA, Femi Babafemi.
The statement noted that four persons are currently being investigated for the 13.65kg hard drug seized.
It further disclosed that about five persons have been arrested in different parts of Lagos and Delta state in connection to the seizure of 3.200kg hard drugs found on a passenger, Christian Osondu, from South Africa.
