The Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, has said that education cannot be funded by the government alone.
Ngige said this on Tuesday during an interview with newsmen while responding to questions about the looming industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.
He disclosed that no official communication has been made to his office in terms of an ultimatum.
The Minister, however, maintained that he has continued to do everything within his power to satisfy the members,
Recall that ASUU had on Monday issued a three-week ultimatum to the Federal Government to address all issues in the December 2020 Agreement or would be compelled to embark on another nationwide strike.
