The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, says it has generated N511m as operating surplus to be paid into the Federation Account for 2021.
Director-General of the NYSC, Ibrahim Shuaibu, said the amount was generated from five major sources of revenue which include NYSC garment factories in Anambra and Niger states, bakery and table water factories in Abuja, film productions and national troupe bookings and performances.
Shuaibu noted that the figure was N231m higher than the sum remitted by the corps in 2020.
