Osun Police Command says it has arrested a police Sergeant, Moses Samuel, for allegedly shooting a 33-year-old man, Kabiru Baba in Ota-Efun Area of Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
A statement signed by the State Police Public Relations Officer Yemisi Opalola confirmed that Baba was allegedly shot by the suspect while driving a truck in the state capital.
The statement noted that investigation and disciplinary actions have commenced and the suspect would be arraigned in court after completion of the Orderly Room Trial to serve as a deterrent to other officers.
It added that the State Commissioner of Police, Olawale Olokode, assured residents that justice would be served.
