The Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, and the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Samson Ayokunle, have berated the Federal Government for the poor management of the security situation in the Country.
Speaking at the fourth quarterly meeting of the Nigeria Inter-Religious Council, on Thursday, Abubakar called on religious leaders to be careful with their utterances in order not to lead their followers astray.
The CAN President asked security operatives to restore safety on the Highways as it has been taken over by armed bandits.
The religious leaders called for a collective and coordinated approach to solve the nation’s security problems.
