The Federal government has approved new allowances for the Nigerian Police Force.
This was disclosed by the Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi, after the Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting on Wednesday.
This will see the take-home pay of police personnel increase by at least 20 percent.
The 20 percent increase according to Dingyadi will take off from January 2022.
