Nigerian Air Force, NAF Special Forces have rescued 26 kidnapped victims while on a fighting patrol along Birnin Gwari-Kaduna Road.
A statement signed by the NAF Spokesman, Edward Gabkwet disclose that the rescue operation occurred when the Special Forces came across five abandoned vehicles along the road and made a search around the scene to discover four different groups of victims hiding in the bushes.
The statement noted that the victims were rescued when the kidnappers sighted the Special Forces and fled into the bushes.
It added that those rescued have been moved to the NAF Hospital Kaduna for thorough medical examination while efforts are been made to rescue the remaining kidnapped victims.
