Onu calls for inclusive energy transmission

The Minister of Science and Technology, and Innovation, Ogbonnaya Onu, has said inclusive energy transmission will support the social and economic prosperity of African nations.
Onu made the call at the virtual meeting organized by the International Renewable Energy Agency, IRENA, in his office yesterday in Abuja.
He noted that the advantage to be derived from the energy system can be effectively processed into final energies be transported through inter-regional electric-grid connections.
The Minister reiterated the Federal Government’s commitment towards providing an enabling environment for private sector participation in the energy sector.
