The Federal Government has commended the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, for their commitment towards enhancing digital skills development among youths.
Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, made the commendation during the inauguration of a Digital Nigeria Centre, at the Ijesa Muslim Grammar School, Ilesa, in Osun State.
Aregbesola lauded the Commission for the implementation of the project, noting that the project will promote the connection of public secondary schools to broadband internet.
The Minister announced the establishment of President Muhammadu Buhari’s N100 million Technology Fund for Youth Empowerment to push the emergence of world class technology experts.
