Reports say Lassa fever has killed a medical doctor in Benue State.
The State Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Joseph Ngbea, disclosed this during a tour at the State University Teaching Hospital on Monday.
Ngbea charged them to conduct mandatory test for all medical doctors and health workers involved in the management of Lassa fever cases in the state.
The Commissioner added that the state government has provided funds for medical supplies and manpower.
