Police Arrest Woman for Alleged Killing of 18-year-old Boy in Ogun State

Ogun State Police Command says it has arrested a woman, Cynthia Olukiowu for allegedly stabbing and killing an 18-year-old who is said to be the nephew of her husband.

The Command Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the arrest in a statement issued in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The statement revealed that Olukiowu was arrested after the Police at Agbado division of the State received a distress call that the suspect had stabbed the teenager to death after accusing him of breaking a mirror.

It added that the State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to the homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and diligent prosecution.
