The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, held a protest against the industrial action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.
While addressing newsmen in Abuja, NANS President, Sunday Asefon, said the Union had given the Federal Government up till the 28th of February to meet and resolve the issue with ASUU or face a mass action by Nigerian students.
The protest was also held in other states including, Ebonyi, Nasarawa, Kano, Plateau, Niger, Taraba States, among others.
