NSCDC Partners with NDLEA to Destroy Local Methamphetamine Laboratories

Osun State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, and the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA has launched partnership to destroy local plants of clandestine methamphetamine laboratories.

The State’s NDLEA Commander, Yomade Ogunbiyi, while shedding light on the clandestine laboratories which were ordered to be destroyed, noted that the product is illegally imported into the country.

Commending the NSCDC for a robust collaboration and synergy, the NDLEA Boss called for a renewed effort.

In his response, the State NSCDC Commandant, Emmanuel Ocheja assured the Command’s readiness to have a joint operation with the agency in order to raid and destroy the local plants and other illicit drugs.
