The Federal Government has reiterated its commitment to support the anti-graft agencies in contributing to the Africa Union’s efforts in combating corruption in Africa.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, stated this at the 5th Annual General Assembly Meeting of the Network of National Anti-corruption Institutions in West Africa in Abuja.
Onyeama stressed the need for law enforcement and anti-corruption agencies in the West African sub-region to play more roles in preventing corruption.
The Minister noted that the Federal Government would continue to provide the necessary material and support to agencies saddled with the responsibility of dealing with corruption and other related crimes.
