Federal Inland Revenue to Partner Niger Republic.

The Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, has called for collaboration between Nigeria and Niger Republic to deepen their relationship and engage in mutual administrative assistance.
FIRS Chairman, Muhammad Nami stated this when his Niger Republic counterpart, the director-general of Niger Tax Authority, Ousmane Mahamane paid him a visit in his office.
Nami emphasized the working relationship enjoyed by both countries in the past, particularly on the community rule on double taxation and transfer pricing.
The Chairman stressed the need for further cooperation in the areas of sharing of tax information, especially in the face of increase in trans-border tax within the context of ECOWAS.
