The United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF, has revealed that at least 9.7 million Nigerian students are at risk of never returning to school.
UNICEF’s Executive Director, Catherine Russell, disclosed this during the launch of the Nigeria Learning Platform, in Abuja.
Russell noted that the platform will help education resources to reach the most vulnerable and marginalized learners.
Also speaking the country director for Nigeria, Peter Hawkins, added that the deployment of the learning platform will provide learning opportunities when face-to-face interaction is not feasible.
