The Federal High Court has announced the rejection of the application of bail filed by suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari.
Delivering judgment, the presiding judge Emeka Nwite, held that the prosecution has placed sufficient materials before the court to warrant the refusal of bail.
Justice Nwite, however, granted an accelerated hearing of the case.
Recall that Kyari alongside five others were charged in relation to offences of unlawful drug dealings.
