The Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, Ogun 1 Area Command has handed loads illicit drugs it seized from smugglers within the state to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA.
The State Controller of NCS, Bamidele Makinde, made this known at the NCS office in Abeokuta, the state capital.
According to Makinde, the handover was to further strengthen the synergy between the NCS and the NDLEA in state.
The Controller added that the NCS would hand over 319 sacks and over 500 wraps of marijuana to the Agency.
