Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, has berated Robert Clarke, for suggesting a tenure elongation for President Muhammadu Buhari.
A statement signed by its National Coordinator, Emmanuel Onwubiko, called on Nigerians to resist the plots by Buhari to extend his tenure.
The statement urged Clarke to concern himself with legacies he wants to bequeath to generations unborn rather than play the role of a spoiler.
Clarke stated that the constitution provided the President to extend his tenure for six months in the first instance if conditions were not ripe for an election.
