Zamfara State Governor Bello Matawalle has charged intending pilgrims from the state to pray for the restoration of peace in all parts of the country.
Matawalle gave the charge while bidding farewell to pilgrims from the state that will perform this year’s Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
He called on the intending pilgrims to be good ambassadors of the state and respect constituted authorities of both Nigeria and the host country of Saudi Arabia.
The governor urged officials of the state government delegation to intensify efforts to ensure the successful conduct of this year’s Hajj operation.
