The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA said it has destroyed two major laboratories in Lagos and Anambra state where crystal meth, popularly called Mkpuru Mmiri, were produced and distributed across the country.
Chairman of NDLEA Buba Marwa disclosed this on Tuesday while addressing newsmen in Abuja.
Marwa commended the professionalism of the intelligence led special units assigned the task adding that taking the two labs out of operation is a major feat in the continuing effort to curb the meth problem.
He urged members of the public to be sensitive to their environment.
