Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has called on all Nigerians to join hands to build national cohesion to guarantee peace, and unity of the country.
Ortom made the call in a goodwill message to mark Nigeria’s 62nd Independence anniversary.
The message harped on the need to strengthen the country’s security architecture, noting that an unsecured nation neither guarantee peaceful coexistence nor engender progress or development.
It urged public office seekers to put the unity and peace of Nigeria first above personal ambitions.
