The Nigerian Labor Congress, NLC, has suspended its ongoing strike action in Imo State.
A statement issued by NLC President, Joseph Ajaero, announced that the suspension is to enable citizens of the state perform their civil duty on Saturday March 18.
The statement noted that the suspension will last for two weeks during which the state government is expected to meet up with the demands of the workers in the state.
The statement added that if this opportunity is not utilized, the Congress will be left with no other choice than to resume the suspended action with more ferocity.
