Oyo Lawmakers Call for Establishment of School Boards

Oyo State House of Assembly has called on Governor Seyi Makinde to introduce school governing boards in public primary schools in the State.

The lawmakers made this appeal during their plenary held in Ibadan, the state capital.

They maintained that most of the schools in the State are currently experiencing infrastructural deficit.

The lawmakers, however, noted that introduction of the school governing boards was necessary in order to address infrastructural decay in public primary schools across the State.
