Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, has commenced mass distribution of Health Insurance cards to 69,273 vulnerable citizens in the state.
Speaking at the flag off of the ceremony, held at Ede High School, Ede, Governor Oyetola revealed that the flag off marks a milestone in the administration’s quest to ensure that everyone has access to qualitative healthcare.
He noted that his administration has consistently paid the equity grant meant for the provision of treatment and care for vulnerable people in the State free of charge.
The Health Insurance Agency has successfully enrolled 69,273 vulnerable persons who have been receiving healthcare services in the last two years under the Basic Healthcare Provision Fund.
