Osun Police Command Assured Residents of Their Safety

Osun State Police Command has restated its commitment towards ensuring the safety of lives and property in the state.

This was contained in a statement signed by the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, and made available to newsmen on Friday in Osogbo, the state capital.

The statement revealed that Commissioner of Police, Olawale Olokode, had directed the command’s tactical teams to embark on intensive investigation to fish out the criminals who carried out an attack on the campaign office of a former Governor of the state, Rauf Aregbesola.

It, however, urged people of the state to continue with their legitimate businesses, assuring that the police have been drafted to the areas to maintain absolute peace.
